Saturday was an exciting day for Architectural Partner David McBain, and Senior Architect Scott Ewan as they attended the official opening ceremony of the new Peterhead Fish Market, designed by Arch Henderson.
HRH Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay carried out the official duties praising the state of the art market as ”a great achievement”. The Prince also viewed exhibition stands and met contractors who worked on the project, fisheries organisations and heritage groups.
The new North Bay market building opened in June this year to accommodate the greater quantities of stocks being landed on the quayside at Peterhead in Aberdeenshire, the UK’s largest white fish and pelagic port.
